Who I am

I'm Susan Castle, a leadership coach working with founders and emerging leaders. I run my coaching practice as a sole trader under the name Susan The Coach, and I'm the person responsible for any data you share with me through this website.

What I collect

I only collect what you choose to give me, or what's needed to run the site.

Depending on how you use it, that may include:Your name and email address, and anything you write, when you fill in a contact or enquiry form. Your email address when you sign up for my newsletter through the form on this site. Your name, email, and booking details if you book a session or call with me through the site's booking system. The information you enter into my interactive tools (such as the Wheel of Life or Values Wheel), and the results, which are only shared with me if you actively choose to send them. Basic technical information that most websites collect automatically, such as your device type, browser, and how you move through the site, used to keep it working and to understand what's useful.CookiesLike most websites, this site uses cookies.

My site is hosted on Wix, which sets cookies to keep the site running, keep it secure, and help me understand how it's used. You can control or switch off cookies through your browser settings.

Why I collect it

I use your information to respond to you, to follow up about coaching where you've asked me to, to deliver what you've requested (such as a booking or your tool results), and, only if you've opted in, to send you my newsletter. I don't use your data for anything you haven't asked for.

What I don't do

I don't sell your data. I don't share it with third parties for marketing. I don't pass it on to anyone except the trusted services I use to run my business, such as Wix for hosting, forms, and bookings, and Substack for my newsletter, and only so they can help me deliver what you've asked for.How long I keep itI keep your information only as long as I need it for the purpose you gave it to me, or for as long as we have a working relationship. If you'd like me to delete your data, just ask and I'll do it.

Your rights Under UK data protection law

You have the right to ask what data I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent to me contacting you at any time. To do any of these, email me at susan@susanthecoach.rocks and I'll sort it.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top. The current version always lives on this page.
